There are things in life that require discernment, and there are things in life that are innate. Our connection with Father determines which of those two, we encounter.

I am always shocked by how many Christians are unaware of the demonic roots of yoga and how some churches actually hire out their halls to yoga groups during the week. Practicing yoga gives tacit permission for the enemy to operate in your life. Christians, please take notice, do your research and don't give the devil a foothold in your life

These “holy yoga” sessions in Christian churches are self centric spiritual/emotional rituals with a side credit to God. Practitioners claim they get closer to God on their mat and it’s quite simple to read between the lines. Even if you rip out all eastern mysticism. Just another example of something appearing harmless that really isn’t. It is a tough conversation to have — I stretch and work out as a means for mental health. The bible even credits exercise as a good thing. This gives room for the advocates of yoga classes in church to say what they are doing is not much different. I disagree. If you fear God your heart is troubled by this. The weak will be “open minded” to other pagan spiritual practices and try to find a common ground between religions in the spirit of inclusion. Others will simply self spiritualize.

Not a big fan of Doreen Virtue since her drive-by character assassination attempt on Dr. Mike Heiser … more than a year after his death.

Fortunately all of Heiser’s friends and colleagues came out and rebuked her slanderous comments very forcefully.

I warn others against these types of “discernment” ministries that do NOT operate biblically … but make false accusations to the weak in faith or untrained.

Now whether or not she’s doing it with Yoga is not my concern… she’s already proved herself untrustworthy.

It would be cool if Christians came up with their own way of working with the energy centers as a way of connecting with the divine. You would save a lot of money on healthcare by avoiding a corrupt system that’s actively trying to kill us all.

Don’t you think you can do some of the poses/stretches and breath work without the Eastern Mysticism?
