This article content is very on target. Far too many churches/pastors avoid political topics afraid of tax laws(so called Johnson Amendment). Frankly I don’t get your reference to PACs in this context. There are Christian, typically focused on specific topics, PACs but I’m unaware of churches being involved - perhaps I’ve missed something.
On Evangelism : read Matt 23:15 , pastors and think hard on it.
