13 Brutal Truths That Separate Winners From Losers
Men who become successful later in life usually adopt these 13 habits:
Think you're destined for greatness? Think again. Most men are sleepwalking through life, destined for mediocrity. But if you've got the balls to face these 13 savage realities, you might just have a shot at success.
Listen up, you lukewarm excuses for Christian men. You're probably reading this on your phone while "resting" on Saturday, wondering why your life isn't overflowing with milk and honey. Well, strap in, soldier of Christ. It's time for a come-to-Jesus moment that'll make Job's trials look like a Sunday school picnic.
Faith without works is dead, and so is your future if you don't act. "Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone" (James 2:17, KJV). You waiting for God to part the Red Sea of your problems? He's waiting for you to pick up your staff and lead.
Time is a gift from God, and you're squandering it. "See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil" (Ephesians 5:15-16, KJV). Every minute wasted is an offering to mediocrity.
Doubt is the devil's playground. The moment you question your God-given greatness, you're spitting in the face of your Creator. "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering" (James 1:6, KJV).
Hunger for righteousness, not just Sunday potlucks. "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5:6, KJV). If you're not starving for God's purpose, you're already spiritually malnourished.
Discipline is your cross to bear. "But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection" (1 Corinthians 9:27, KJV). Feelings are fickle; obedience is non-negotiable.
Be in the world, not of it. Conformity is spiritual suicide. "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind" (Romans 12:2, KJV). Stand out for Christ or get left behind.
Rest in the Lord, but don't grow lazy. "Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work" (Exodus 20:9, KJV). Find the balance or find yourself reaping thorns and thistles.
Your fellowship determines your spiritual fitness. "Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners" (1 Corinthians 15:33, KJV). Surround yourself with godly winners or get comfortable with spiritual stagnation.
The Word is your weapon. If you're not in the Bible daily, you're going into battle unarmed. "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15, KJV).
Guard your tongue like it's the Holy Grail. "In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise" (Proverbs 10:19, KJV). The world doesn't need to know your every move; God already does.
Social media is a mission field, not an idol. If you're spending more time crafting posts than crafting your character, you're already lost. "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world" (1 John 2:15, KJV).
Perseverance isn't optional, it's biblical. When trials come, that's your cue to stand firm. "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved" (Matthew 24:13, KJV).
Fear God, not man. Other people's opinions are as useful as Balaam's donkey without divine intervention. "The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe" (Proverbs 29:25, KJV).
There you have it, brothers in Christ. These aren't just habits; they're the battle scars of men who've fought the good fight of faith. You want success God's way? It's not going to fall from heaven like manna. You've got to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
So what's it going to be? Are you going to keep making excuses, or are you ready to join the ranks of men who actually fulfill their divine calling? The choice is yours, but remember: lukewarm faith makes God want to spew you out of His mouth.
Wake up, put on the full armor of God, and start living like your eternal life depends on it. Because guess what? It does.
