The Left loves using "apologies" as weapons. They're not really seeking repentance, but power and control. Sadly, too many big-name evangelicals are falling for it, smearing their own people to win favor from the woke mob. It's time real men call this out.
How the Weapon Works:
Trigger the Feels: They start with an emotionally-charged event, playing on hot topics like race or sexuality. Facts don't matter; it's all about stirring up outrage.
Smear the Group: Then they make sweeping statements blaming ENTIRE groups of people – often white men – without any specifics or evidence.
Beth Moore is a master of this. After Trump's impeachment, she basically called anyone who voted for him a racist, sexist, white supremacist. No proof, no specifics, just pure character assassination.
They Don't Want Repentance, They Want Control
Notice how these "apologies" are always vague. "White supremacy"? What does that even MEAN? The goal isn't to fix real problems, it's to make you feel perpetually guilty so they can control you. It's also a total violation of biblical principles of justice – condemning folks without evidence just because Twitter says so.
Moore did the same to the SBC, calling it a misogynist haven. But instead of arguing her actual point about women preachers (from Scripture, of course), she threw the #MeToo bomb. Dishonest, but effective for shutting down opponents.
When you see stuff like this, ask yourself: Where's the specific sin? Where's the proof? Are they using biblical definitions of sin or woke ones?
Sin, Repentance, and the Culture Wars
The Bible calls us to repent of REAL sins we ACTUALLY committed, not our skin color or the fact that we have a Y chromosome. Identity politics is pure garbage. And real repentance leads to restoration through Christ's sacrifice. The woke mob just wants endless penance – and power over you.
Notice how they tell white men to shut up after they've "confessed" their evil? This isn't about unity, it's about dividing people into oppressor vs. oppressed groups – the opposite of what the Gospel does.
