As the sun descends and shadows grow long,
Painting the world in hues of grey and gold,
We pause to seek the peace that comes from above,
A peace that calms our hearts and makes us whole.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7, KJV)
The mountains stand as silent sentinels,
A testament to Your majesty and might,
Beneath their gaze, a humble dwelling rests,
Bathed in the gentle glow of fading light.
This humble home, a symbol of Your care,
Reminds us that we too are safe and sound,
Sheltered by Your love, embraced by Your grace,
In You, true peace and solace can be found.
Lord, as the day surrenders to the night,
And weary souls seek solace and release,
Quiet our troubled minds, still every fear,
Enfold us in Your everlasting peace.
Let not the worries of the day remain,
To haunt the stillness of the approaching night,
But grant us rest, a respite from our cares,
And wake us with the dawn's refreshing light.
Your peace, O Lord, a fortress for our souls,
A refuge from the storms that rage and roar,
In You, we find our strength, our hope, our all,
Your love, a beacon guiding us to shore.
Like birds that soar on currents high above,
We find true freedom in Your boundless grace,
Our spirits lifted, hearts no longer bound,
By earthly cares, we seek Your loving face.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7, KJV)
As stars ignite across the velvet sky,
And moonlight bathes the world in silver beams,
We rest secure, enveloped by Your peace,
And drift into the haven of our dreams.
May angels watch over us as we sleep,
Their presence guarding us from every harm,
Surrounded by Your love, we find our rest,
Enfolded gently in Your mighty arm.
For all Your blessings, Lord, we offer thanks,
For peace that stills the tumult of our fears,
For love that binds us with unbreakable cords,
And guides us through the passage of the years.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7, KJV)
When morning breaks, and shadows flee the dawn,
May we awaken with hearts renewed and free,
Our voices joined in grateful harmony,
Whispering words of praise, "Amen," to Thee.
For in Your peace, we find our strength restored,
Our spirits lifted, faith and hope reborn,
We thank You for Your faithfulness and grace,
And face the day ahead, no longer torn.
The peace of God, a gift beyond compare,
A treasure that no earthly wealth can buy,
It fills our hearts, it guards our every thought,
In Christ, our Savior, we find victory nigh.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7, KJV)
And so we end this day, our Lord, our King,
Our weary heads upon Your mercy laid,
Enveloped by Your peace, we find our rest,
Our spirits nourished, comforted, and stayed.
With grateful hearts, we offer up this prayer,
In Jesus' name, we find our peace complete,
His love surrounds us, banishes all fear,
And guides our steps towards that heavenly street.
Amen.
And when the night is cold and dark, you can see, you can see Light.
